Founded on the principles of quiet utility, Kanon’s began as a response to the aggressive practices of commercial laundry. We observed how heat, harsh chemicals, and automated speed slowly compromised the character of natural fibers—linen lost its drape, cotton lost its softness, and garments were discarded long before their time.
Our San Francisco workshop is designed around a slower rhythm. Here, we evaluate each textile individually. Water temperatures are calibrated precisely, detergent formulas are kept hypoallergenic and neutral, and pressing is handled manually with steam rather than weight.
The result is a return to form. Garments that feel fresh, structured, and profoundly clean, delivered back to your home without heavy chemical residue or artificial perfume.
